Maddie & Matt | Filoli Garden & Palo Alto Engagement Session

Filoli Garden was the perfect place to start Maddie & Matt’s engagement session. They both grew up in the Bay Area so Filoli wasn’t too far from home. The property itself is incredible and has recently opened it’s doors to hosting several weddings a year. After shooting at Filoli, we moved to the foothills of Palo Alto to continue the session with their dog, George, a Cavapoo. The second location was the epitome of the Bay Area in the fall, golden hills for as far as the eye can see.

I first met Maddie and Matt at Philz Coffee in Redwood City. During that first meeting we realized we had so much in common, 0ur conversation was easy, and they were so fun to spend time with as a couple. I just knew I had to photograph their wedding. Their engagement session reaffirmed all of that and I couldn’t be more excited for their wedding day!
